The Capstone Group has its roots in work for non-profits, state government, and business organizations starting well before we opened our doors in 2003. Founding partners Moira Cullen, Mary Marchun and Christine Staberg often crossed paths in community meetings, hearing rooms and the hallways of the Capitol. Lots of late nights and early mornings working through difficult stakeholder negotiations and policy alternatives to achieve success inspired us to launch our own firm, focused on bringing our core values and work ethic to bear for clients seeking to earn a seat at the table. Since that time, we’ve added to our team, strategically expanding our issue expertise, key relationships and ability to meet our client’s needs.
“No matter where I come down on an issue, I know that The Capstone Group is always trustworthy, hardworking and will provide me with the data and information necessary for me to make a decision. They go the extra step to provide legislators with access to real life experiences on the ground so that we can get a view in to key issues and policy implementation at work. They represent their clients well and know how to steer a bill through the process from beginning to end.”
— Senate President, James Coleman
“The Capstone Group is a valued and trusted resource at the Capitol. Their professionalism, work ethic, and persistence is exemplified by the entire team. The level of detail and in-depth analysis on legislation, and willingness to collaborate makes them an essential asset in navigating the tough road of passing bills.”
— House Minority Leader, Rose Pugliese
